Commencement of Cooperative Course with Tsuruoka National College of Technology

Tsuruoka National College of Technology, which has published outstanding research among technical colleges in Japan, and Spiber Inc., which has been developing the next generational bio-material QMONOS™, will jointly provide the “Advanced Material Course" at Tsuruoka National College of Technology from April 1, 2015.
This is the first instance of such a program in a national college, with the goal of accelerating the industrial revolution of materials based on high performance structural proteins. Training these students will help open the way to future cooperation between Spiber Inc., aiming to be the world’s first company to commercialize structural protein material, and Tsuruoka National College of Technology, with its cutting-edge research in material science and polymer chemistry.
