In order to continue its research and development endeavors and scale up operations to prepare for mass production, Spiber Inc. has received 1.6004 ​billion yen through third-party allocation ​of new shares to ​organizations including The Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, Limited, ​and ​Toyota Boshoku Corporation. Following the issuance of these new shares, the company’s total capital has increased to 16.24372 billion yen (including capital reserves).
