Spiber is pleased to announce the simultaneous approval of two capital raises, the first being its most recent equity financing of JPY 24.4 billion through a third-party allocation of new shares to global leading investors including Carlyle, as well as domestic existing shareholders including the Cool Japan Fund. The second approval is for an additional JPY 10 billion extension of the value securitization structure arranged by Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd., bringing the total new capital to JPY 34.4 billion.
