Spiber is pleased to announce the launch of a mascara product containing Brewed Protein™ fibers by Shiseido Japan, developed through a collaborative research and development project focused on the creation of cosmetic ingredients. This launch marks the first usage of Brewed Protein fiber in a cosmetics product. (This product is only available for purchase in Japan.)

Spiber is looking ahead to the development of a diversity of materials for use in cosmetics—including microbeads—in the mid- to long-term, with an initial focus on fibers for mascara and eyebrow products.
